Where natural philosophy and the sciences are fields of study, Math is a discipline.
The notion that math is difficult is invariably a cliche which escapes by way of the famous mathematician G.H. Hardy.
A major unsolved problem in math and computer science is NP =/= P, or how to solve for the inequality between nonpolynomials and polynomials, in polynomial time.

There are two kinds of numbers to be concerned with here. Cardinal and Ordinal
According to the dictionary, Wikipedia, and Math is Fun website, A cardinal number denotes quantity (one, two, three, etc.), as opposed to ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc.). --dictionary
Meanwhile, cardinality is a measure of the "number of elements of a set. For example, the set A = {2, 4, 6} contains 3 elements, and therefore A has a cardinality of 3.
There are two approaches to cardinality – one which compares sets directly using bijectionsand injections, and another which uses cardinal numbers.[1"]
Bijection is interesting, I hope to elaborate more on later.
Ordinal Numbers tells the position of something in a list, such as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. Most ordinal numbers end in "th" except for: one ⇒ first (1st) two ⇒ second (2nd) three ⇒ third (3rd)" --Math is Fun
In mathematics, people also study infinite cardinal numbers. The first infinite cardinal number was named (pronounced Aleph-zero or Aleph-naught) by Georg Cantor. is the number of numbers that are in the group 0, 1, 2, 3, ... keep going forever. Cantor proved that there are many different infinite cardinal numbers that are bigger than . A famous theorem of Cantor is that the cardinality of the real numbers is larger than the cardinality of the natural numbers.
